Behrens, Peggy Day, Laura Lee Williams. 


WELCOME, GUESTS! Please join us after church today for a fellowship picnic at Milton & Mary Montaque's home. Directions are on the information post in the foyer. Members: please bring plenty of food to share. Next week there is no picnic due to Labor Day weekend. 

ADAMS PARK OUTING: Join the Social Committee tomorrow at 10:45 a.m. at the Adams National Historical Park in Quincy, MA. There will be a guided tour of three historic homes. Space is limited, so please sign up on the sheet at the video cabinet in the foyer. Free park admission. For more info, contact Darla Stong at 978-582-0252. This event is a go, rain or shine. 
  • The trolley for the two-hour tour will leave promptly at 11:15 a.m., so make sure to be at the park at 10:45 to get checked in and ready. 
  • Anyone willing to carpool, please be at the church at 9:30 a.m. Directions are available at <tinyurl.com/ldleh7> or <nps.gov/adams> and by the sign-up sheet in the foyer. 
  • There is no official picnic area, but there are some grassy areas where you could picnic. There are also several nice restaurants nearby.

PRAYING FOR OUR CHILDREN: This Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel. 

THREE MORE PARABLES, then we follow Jesus back into miracles during our Recalibration meetings this Wednesday (10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.) You can be ready if you read Matthew 9:15–17, Mark 2:21–22 and Luke 5:36–38.

MUSIC MINISTRIES: An opportunity to receive and to be a blessing in music!
  • Good Shepherd Choir: Grades K–3, 3:30 p.m. starting this Wednesday.
  • Young Musicians' Choir: Grades 4–8, 4:30 p.m. starting this Wednesday.
SUPPERTIME FRIDAY: This Friday at 6:00 p.m. at Pam & Bill Weisher's home in Princeton. Hope to see you there! Bring your favorite dish to share.

Starting with the next issue, the College Church newsletter is going to be distributed on our web site rather than mailing printed copies. This will reduce costs and may enable us to do some things that we currently don't do.

pivotal for many folks. If you read Matthew 8:24–34, Mark 4:37–5:15
and Luke 8:23–35 you'll be well prepared to discover why. You may very
well want to make this mid-week spiritual boost a common practice of

EVERY WEDNESDAY we have two special opportunities to grow in the Word. You can attend at 10:00 a.m. or 7:00 p.m. and get the same rich blessing. This week we will be focusing on a number of the stories of Jesus from the plain of Galilee. If you read Matthew 13:24–47, Mark 4:21 & 30 and Luke 8:16, 11:33 and 13:20–21 before you attend you'll be well ready to have an even greater blessing come your way.
