THANKSGIVING BASKET MINISTRY

  • AUC, the Village and College Churches are teaming up to collect food for needy families. We need volunteers to pick up the bags distributed last week. Volunteers will meet at the College Church at 2:00 this afternoon. SLA and AUC students can get community service time for this. Please, don't miss out on the special blessings God has for those who serve. The more food we collect, the more needs we can meet.

  • This Thanksgiving gift basket project isn't about helping with just one meal. Last year we began giving families staples like flour, sugar, eggs, oil, etc. The need is greater this year. That's why we want to increase the number of baskets this year to between 50 and 100. But we need food and cash donations to fill the boxes and purchase staples and fresh produce. Would you consider sponsoring one food item for 15 families ($30), 25 families ($50), 50 families ($100), or 100 families ($200)? Please know that any gift is greatly appreciated. We know things are difficult for you, too. So gather your family together and take it to the Lord in prayer. Ask Him what He would have you do to help needy local families.

  • Please bring food to the chapel through Nov. 22. If giving a cash gift, please make checks out to the College Church with Thanksgiving Project in the memo field, and inform the church office or Jacalyn Nosek (978-365-4466) as soon as possible. Thank you for your prayers, labor, and generous gifts to support this important community service program.

PRAYING FOR OUR CHILDREN: This Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel.

ATTENTION ACADEMY/HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE AGE STUDENTS!! Don't miss the interactive and informative Adventist College Community Fair this Wednesday from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at the Village Church. Many SDA colleges and universities will be there with information on Adventist higher education, including course offerings, the application process, and financial aid. We look forward to seeing you there with your friends and family. For more, contact Gilberto Caraballo at 978-733-1948 or gilbertjrc@comcast.net.

SUPPERTIME FRIDAY: Pam & Bill Weisher host Suppertime Friday at their house in Princeton at 6:00 p.m. on the first Friday of each month. Hope to see you there this Friday! Bring your favorite dish to share.

New College Church Pastor Chosen

Dear College Church Family,

We are very excited to inform you that the College Church Board has
unanimously voted to invite Elder Don Pate to be our senior pastor,
and he has accepted. We praise God for His leading in this matter. We
are overjoyed to have Pastor Don coming to serve with us!

Pastor Don will be here for a couple of weeks in December and will be
moving permanently sometime in January. He is also going to attempt to
rearrange his schedule so that he can be with us on the Sabbath before
Thanksgiving for our harvest celebration.

Many thanks to all of those who made this particular Sabbath day such
a wonderful time - to the search committee for their many months of
hard work and perseverance, to all of those who worked so hard on
making today's fellowship dinner such a success, and especially to
those who were faithful in prayer that God would bring us just the
right person to lead us.

This is a day to lift our voices in praise! Praise God!
