Key Announcements for Sept. 27, 2008

PRAYER FOCUS: With health concerns we remember Roger Bothwell (knee
surgery), Kim King, Sharon Olejniczak, Virginia Livermore, Laura Lee
Williams.

CAMP WINNEKEAG SOCIAL: Enjoy a relaxing Sabbath vespers by the lake
tonight at 6:00. We'll cook our supper over the fire, so bring your
roasting sticks. There is a small fee for usage of the camp, so come
prepared. See you there!

THANKSGIVING PROJECT: During these difficult economic times our
community needs our help more than ever. Therefore we would like to
substantially increase the number of Thanksgiving gift baskets we give
out this year. It's a big project, but with your help we can make a
real difference in the greater Lancaster area. An organizational
meeting is planned for today at 3:00 p.m. in the Junior Room. Won't
you come and lend a helping hand?

ADVENTURER FUN DAY: Tomorrow at the Mystic Aquarium.

CANCER SUPPORT: This Monday at 5:00 p.m. in the Junior Room.

PROJECT COMMITTEE: This Monday at 8:00 p.m. (note time change).
Meeting will last only one hour, so please be punctual.

SUPPERTIME FRIDAY: Pam & Bill Weisher host Suppertime Friday at their
house in Princeton at 6:00 p.m. on the first Friday of each month.
Hope to see you there this Friday! Bring your favorite dish to share.

CLUB MEETINGS: Today at 1:15 p.m. Remember, Adventurer Fun Day is
Sept. 28 at the Mystic Aquarium.

Little Lambs: in the Beginner Sabbath School classroom.

Eager Beavers: in the Kindergarten classroom

Adventurers: in the Primary A Sabbath School classroom.

SHARE HIM/EMPOWERED CHURCH MEETING: This is an unusual time for us
here at College Church. We can choose to be dismayed or to see it as a
call to action for each one of us. Come to the Share Him/Empowered
Church meeting this afternoon and participate in the planning of some
exciting, spiritually enriching projects for the church and some
community outreach projects. Young, old, or in between, we need your
dreams, energy, and talents. Come, let us band together to enrich and
grow our community of faith, and to reach out in love and compassion
to meet the needs of our surrounding community. Join us in the Junior
Room at 3:00 p.m. today.

COMMUNITY CAFÉ: We provide and serve food at the café tomorrow from
4:00–6:30 p.m. Please call Barbara King at 978-368-8419 if interested.

WOMEN'S CHORUS: Kristjon Imperio will direct the Women's Chorus in the
Chapel Sundays at 6:45 p.m. starting tomorrow (note slight change in
time). Bring your mothers, grandmothers, daughters, sisters, aunts,

PRAYER AFTERGLOW meets with elder Lois King in the Junior Room after
the 11:00 service for brief, focused prayer.

THE AUC ALUMNI ASSOCIATION & FRIENDS would like to welcome the AUC
senior class by hosting a watermelon feed with melons grown and
generously donated by an alum. All AUC seniors and alumni are invited,
and seniors are eligible for prizes. We hope to see you outside the
