Key Announcements for Dec. 29, 2007

PRAYER FOCUS With health concerns we remember Nell Steiner (wife of Stanley Steiner, former College Church pastor and SNEC president), June Harris, Leslie Carr (Lance Harris’ mother-in-law), Richard Brown, Tim Millet, Beverly Hall, Ethel Jensen, Peggy Day, Sharon Olejniczak and their families. We also remember the concerns in the foyer prayer book.

WELCOME, GUESTS! We invite you to our fellowship dinner today, hosted by the Davis/Trott Sabbath School class in the Fellowship Hall. Next week is the monthly all-church dinner. Plan to bring your food ready to serve as we will not be working in the kitchen during the service. Thanks, Jane

TODAY
Ø Breakfast in Church 9:00–10:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
Ø Carol singing 10:45 a.m. in the Sanctuary
Ø Participatory worship service 11:00 a.m.
Ø Ray Sauls family farm nativity 3:00 p.m. on our side yard. Have you guessed who our nativity family will be this year?
Ø The Youth Center will present an Improv Play in the Sanctuary after the nativity.

WE’RE GOING TO RUSSIA AGAIN THIS YEAR Sandee Richards and her son Ivan will take the goods we collect for the Florida Hospital project. The marked collection box in the foyer is for small toys, pajamas and underwear. Make checks payable to Florida Hospital Foundation and give them to Sandee or Jane. The deadline is today.
     
ARE YOU LOOKING for a way to share your holiday spirit with others? The Community Café has asked us to help with a Christmas Eve buffet supper from 4:30–6:30 and we need servers and dishwashers—no cooking required. THE BULLETIN DEADLINE will be Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. next week.

YEAR-END COMMUNION this Friday. We will enjoy an Agape supper at 6:30 p.m. (bring sweet or savory breads, spreads, crackers, cheeses, dried or fresh fruit ready to eat or add to a fruit salad, nuts, etc.) and then celebrate the ordinance of service. Via satellite we will join with churches from all over North America in the live service led by Elder Don Schneider at 8:00 p.m.
