Key Announcements for Dec.1, 2007
Several key announcements are below. Please remember that it is assumed you are reading them Sabbath morning and that there will be more important announcements in Sabbath's bulletin.
WE INADVERTENTLY printed the wrong designation for last Sabbath’s offering. We called for a local church budget offering, but the offering scheduled was for Atlantic Union College. So we have designated today’s offering for AUC. Please consider a special gift for Atlantic Union College! If you aren’t prepared today, mark your envelope for one of the upcoming Sabbaths with a special offering for AUC.
PRAYER FOCUS With health concerns we remember Savannah Hurley (7-year-old girl with terminal cancer), Ana Quñonez (Marisol Gracia’s grandmother), Robert Montgomery, Beverly Hall, Ethel Jensen, Peggy Day, Sharon Olejniczak, Jim Norcliffe and their families. We also remember the concerns in the foyer prayer book.
In bereavement we remember the family of Mary Ann Guida (Bob Daum’s sister), who passed away last weekend.
WELCOME, GUESTS! Following the worship service today, join us for our monthly all-church dinner in the Fellowship Hall on the lower level. As you enter please join a table for fellowship as the tables will be dismissed. Please bring your food ready to serve or in a microwave container because we will not be working in the kitchen during the church service. Next Sabbath’s dinner will be in Jack & Charlotte Creighton’s hospitality room, so call them to see what you can provide. Jane
THE OUTREACH LEADERSHIP TEAM will meet today at 2:30 in the Junior Room. All OLT members and interested church members are welcome.
GAME NIGHT tonight at 6:00 in the Fellowship Hall. Bring a snack to share, your table games and suitable shoes for ping pong. The Social Committee
PRAYING FOR OUR CHILDREN meets this Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel.
SUPPERTIME FRIDAY is this Friday at 6:00 p.m. at the Morrison’s home. Everyone is welcome. Can’t beat great food and wonderful fellowship to start the Sabbath! Come on time so that you won’t be late for the Christmas concert at 7:30.
