PRAYER FOCUS We praise the Lord for the recovery of NAD President Don Schneider. With health concerns we remember Laura Lee Williams (upcoming surgeries), Kaj Sonne, Lillian O'Handley, Eric Bartlett, Beryl Christoph, Sharon Olejniczak, Carolyn Stump, Jim Norcliffe, and their families. We also remember the concerns in the foyer prayer book.

WELCOME GUESTS Please join us today for dinner in the Fellowship Hall following the church service. The Right Side & Castle Sabbath School classes will host the meal. The church family is welcome to attend, but please participate by providing food.

REMEMBER next Sabbath’s communion and agape gathering during our worship service at 11:00 a.m. The church will provide pita & hummus for the gathering which will be a continuation of the service. The gathering will be held in the Fellowship Hall. You are invited to bring sliced & ready to serve sweet breads, dried & fresh fruits, nuts and cheese platters. Write your check to The Florida Hospital Foundation/Russia (your receipt will come directly from them) and give it to Jane personally instead of putting it in the offering plate. WELCOME, GUESTS! Join us after church in the fellowship hall for our monthly haystack lunch. Next week is Christmas breakfast in church, so there is no dinner.

EVENSONG Today at 3:30 p.m. the SLA Concert Choir and Il Vocé will present an Evensong. Join us for an hour of preparation for the coming of the Spirit of the Christ Child into our hearts. Long ago Jesus was born to bring peace and saving grace to all. Take this time to come away from the pressures of the season, that we with you may open the rude stable of our hearts that Jesus may come and give us peace.

COMMUNITY CAFÉ College Church members are needed to provide and serve food at the café tomorrow from 4:00–6:30 p.m. Contact Pastor Elizabeth Castle if interested.

"WHAT ABOUT THE COATS?" Did you remember to bring them today? After the worship service I'll be by our car at the lower entrance and we will load them in. If you forgot them, you may bring them to my home by noon tomorrow. I'll deliver them to the women's shelter in the afternoon. Jane

A/V MEETING The audio and video departments will meet today at 2:00 p.m. in the Junior Room. All members of both departments are asked to attend.

ANIMALS, ANIMALS That’s what there’ll be! This afternoon at 3:00 Dr. Ray Sauls & his family and friends will provide a wonderful opportunity for us and the community here on the College Church side lawn to see some of his animals in a nativity setting. Depending on the weather we’ll enjoy singing carols with Michelle Williams outside—or inside, if need be. Refreshments will be served—hot chocolate & of course, animal crackers. Jane

WOMEN’S BRUNCH & YANKEE SWAP Come to my home tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. for brunch (bring whatever you’d like) and our yearly fun Yankee Swap—bring a nice gift you would like to receive yourself (we play it a little differently!) This will be our gathering for the month. Hope to see you! Jane

WE’LL BE AWAY on vacation, beginning “bright & early” Monday morning, returning to the office Friday, the 22nd. We’re looking forward to our trip but not happy to miss the Christmas programs and party next weekend. Pastor “Mo” & Jane

WEDNESDAY will be a very busy day here at the church. Next Sabbath is the music program for the worship service featuring our own College Church choirs. So if you are a part of these groups, plan to be here for the rehearsal supper at 5:30 p.m. followed by practice from 6:00-8:00 p.m. All the children will have regular practices during the day plus the rehearsal.
