WELCOME, GUESTS!

YOUTH
Ø   Tonight at 6:00 pm at the Jones' home there will be a vespers and then a movie on the lawn for Earliteens and Youth. If there is poor weather we will have it at the Youth Center.
Ø   This Wednesday meet at the church at 5:30 p.m. to go bowling. Shoe rental will be paid for, but you will need money to pay for two games.

"THE PRESENCE" with Pastor Shawn Boonstra of It Is Written continues in the Chapel nightly at 7:00 p.m. through this Tuesday. We have installed a new satellite dish and are getting a very good, consistent picture, so come and join us.

PASTOR MO’S BAPTISMAL CLASS will not meet this Wednesday, October 4. See you next week!

SLA ALUMNI WEEKEND starts this Friday. Speakers include Louis Cabasa '81, Miriam Cassily Lastine '56 and a special Sabbath vespers of musical selections by Ken and Don Hutchins and friends. The Alumni luncheon will be at AUC’s Chan Shun Dining Commons. Tickets should be purchased in advance; see bulletin board for details. Mail to SLA Alumni, c/o Treasurer, PO Box 864, So. Lancaster, MA. 01561-0864. Registration starts Friday at 4:00 p.m. at SLA, where you can also support SLA student fundraisers—a car wash and dinner.

PRAYER FOCUS
With health concerns we remember Beryl Christoph, Henry Livergood, Betty Lang, "Little Lillian" Peckham, Ray Dow, Sharon Olejniczak, Carolyn Stump, Ottilie Stafford, Jim Norcliffe, and their families. We also remember the concerns in the foyer prayer book.

In bereavement we remember the family of Marion Smith, Wendell's mother, who passed away last Sabbath at the age of 96.

This is a wonderful opportunity for outreach to the community. It includes play time, music, "circle time," a table activity and lunch finishing at 12:15 p.m. Questions? Women's Night Out

Alberto Sbacchi's Service

We are saddened to pass along the news that Alberto Sbacchi passed
away last night after a long illness. We can be comforted knowing
that he rests in Jesus, and we solicit your prayers and concern for
his wife, Margareta, and the rest of Alberto's loved ones.

A memorial service for Alberto will be held next Wednesday, September
20, at 2:00 p.m. here in the College Church. All are invited to
attend. There will be an opportunity for fellowship afterward.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Karlman
scholarship fund at the AUC History Department.

Pathfinder Change

After consulting with parents, Gilbert Caraballo has changed the
meeting times for Pathfinders. They will now meet on Fridays at 7:00
p.m. and Sabbaths at 2:00 p.m. The first meeting will be Friday,
September 8 (which as of this writing, is tomorrow night).

Sorry for any confusion.
