Ø   Reaching and Winning Your Jewish Friends: The SNEC Jewish Ministry Advisory invites those who want to share the gospel with their Jewish friends to attend this seminar. Through Spirit-filled people like you, the message of Yeshua our Messiah will reach them. The registration deadline is this Tuesday and the seminar is September 10 from 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. in Bailey Hall behind the SNEC office. Fee includes materials and lunch.

THE MINISTRY OF NURTURE committee will meet this coming Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. in the Junior Room. If you’re joining the committee this year (new nominating report) please come to this first meeting after the summer break too. Looking forward to everyone attending! Elaine Kennedy, Coordinator

YOUTH NITE “Come one, come all” this Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. The youth invite you to join them to assemble their new furnishings. “Does that mean I have to be able to use screwdrivers, etc.?” A big YES!! Refreshments will be served.

Katharina Livergood Memorial Supper

post below) that there will be a memorial service for Katharina
Livergood, Henry's mother, Sabbath afternoon. There will be a soup-
and-salad fellowship supper following the service. If you would like

In bereavement we remember the family of Katharina Livergood, who passed away Wednesday here in Lancaster. She celebrated her 100th birthday May 20. The family invites you to the memorial service today at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel.

EXPLORE BOSTON HARBOR ISLANDS tomorrow. Meet at the Alewife T stop at 8:30 a.m. to join our group outing (or just meet us at Long Wharf) to take the 9:30 a.m. ferry to George’s Island. Bring a picnic lunch (or buy something there) and whatever else you think you’ll need—swimming suit, sunscreen, games, etc. We’ll see what happens from there!

Check www.bostonislands.org for information such as cost (fee covers ferry and shuttle between islands), explanation of the different islands, what there is to see and do, shuttle times, etc. If you don’t have access to the web, see me for printouts about what’s available. PATHFINDER PARENTS’ MEETING: To make our upcoming Pathfinder year a success, we will be having a parents’ meeting this Friday at 7:00 p.m. and again next Sabbath at 3:00 p.m. for those who can't make the Friday meeting. Both will be held at the Pathfinder clubhouse on the SNEC campgrounds. It is of extreme importance that we meet with all parents who are going to have a child in Pathfinders this year.
