Several key announcements are below. They are written as if you are reading them Sabbath morning. There will be additional important announcements in Sabbath's bulletin.

LABOR DAY WEEKEND SCHEDULE CHANGES: There will be no picnic after church today and the church office will be closed Monday.

- Kids' Council: Kids, come to the Youth Room to give her your ideas and thoughts about things you'd like to see the church do. Want to be a part of the leadership and planning of new ministries for kids? Come say what you think! Tell your parents you want to be involved. Times:
- Juniors and Earliteens: This Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.
- Primary 1 and 2: This Thursday at 6:00 p.m.
- All youth and children's Sabbath School leaders, please come to a brainstorming brunch in the Fellowship Hall Sept. 27 at 9:00 a.m. Bring your hopes, needs, and ideas for building our children up in ministry. Food included.
EACH WEDNESDAY we keep drawing closer to Christ as we walk with Him through the gospels. This week (10 a.m. and 7 p.m.) we will observe Him interacting in two fascinating, parallel stories. You may want to read ahead—Mark chapter 5 will be our prime focus.
MUSIC MINISTRIES: An opportunity to receive and to be a blessing in music!
- Musikgarten Choir/Playtime: Starts this Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. Invite your neighbors, relatives and friends to join you for this fun time for pre-school children and their parents. A wonderful opportunity for community outreach.
- Women's Chorus: Wednesdays at 7:15 p.m. starting this Wednesday.
- Men's Chorus: Sundays at 6:30 p.m. starting Sept. 13.
- Carillon Ringers: The handbell choir will be starting up soon. Please contact Michelle Lee Williams at 508-728-6495 if interested.
LIVING FREE SEMINAR: Living Free shows you how bad habits and addictions develop. It gives you practical guidelines on how to overcome addictions, create a positive mental, spiritual and physical environment, and change your life for good! Thursdays and Sundays, 6:00—8:00 p.m. Sept. 10–27, starting this Thursday, in the Fellowship Hall. $30 registration fee includes 356-page manual. To register, call the church office at 978-368-2130.
OVEREATERS ANONYMOUS offers a program of recovery from compulsive eating using the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions of OA. It addresses physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. For more info, contact Maria at 978-779-6279.
- Orientation Meetings: 7:00–8:30 p.m. this Thursday, and also Sept. 17 & 24 in the Chapel. Note: Attendance at one of these is required for participation in AWOL (see below).
- Overeaters Anonymous: A Way of Life: AWOL is a committed study of the twelve steps. You must have a sponsor to attend and maintain abstinence from overeating. Weekly closed AWOL meetings start Thursday, October 1.

- Adventurer Fun Day is at The Children's Museum, 950 Trout Brook Drive, West Hartford, Connecticut, 10:00 a.m. Sept. 27, but the registration deadline is this Friday. Admission fee includes admission to the museum, planetarium and patch.
- Meetings: Little Lambs, Eager Beavers, and Adventurers begin Sabbath, September 19 at 1:15 p.m. All children age 4 to grade 4 are welcome. Registration forms are available on the round table in the foyer. When completed, please place them in the Adventurer box on the same table.
THE 360° MIXER: We are so excited to introduce a new opportunity for our youth to grow spiritually, network socially, and discover a newly authentic way to worship. This Friday at 7:00 p.m. at Pastor Heather's house. For more info please contact her at pastorheathercook@gmail.com or 978-549-0383.
