Key Announcements for Aug. 8, 2009

PRAYER FOCUS: 

• Health Concerns: Suzie Ruiz (Danny Sierra's cousin), Arthur Bowen, Jr., Thor Montgomery, Joan Lufkin, Jayne Baccus-Hurley, Luis Gregorio (Sonia Bowen's brother), Sharon Olejniczak, Judy Brown, Neal Peisley (Kathy Grellman's father), Cliff Pope, Amanda Bailey, B.J. Behrens, Peggy Day, Laura Lee Williams. 
• Bereavement: Dan Smith (Bob Broderick's step-father), a former member of the College Church and member of the Building Committee, died Monday in Naples Fla. A Memorial Service will be held at the Gardner Church on August 15, time to be announced.

WELCOME, GUESTS! Please join us after church today for a fellowship picnic at Scott & Betsy Sassone's home. Directions are on the information post in the foyer. Members: please bring plenty of food to share. Next week's picnic is at Marge & Forest Howe's home.

EVERY WEDNESDAY we have two special opportunities to grow in the Word. You can attend at 10:00 a.m. or 7:00 p.m. and get the same rich blessing. This week we will be focusing on a number of the stories of Jesus from the plain of Galilee. If you read Matthew 13:24–47, Mark 4:21 & 30 and Luke 8:16, 11:33 and 13:20–21 before you attend you'll be well ready to have an even greater blessing come your way.
