THANKSGIVING BASKET MINISTRY
Some have made generous financial contributions to this project and we thank-you. We still need a lot more money to purchase staples and fresh produce for 80 to 100 families. The staples that still need funding are flour, sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, rice, and beans, and the fresh produce are potatoes, onions, carrots, and oranges. Businesses, families or individuals who are interested in sponsoring a specific item or donating to the general fund can make checks out to the College Church with "Thanksgiving Project" in the memo section. Please make donations by Nov. 15. For questions or more information call Jacalyn Nosek at 978-365-4466.
Praise God for the compassion and generosity of our Lancaster community. They supported this Thanksgiving Food Drive by giving in great abundance. But we still have significant needs. We need more cans/jars of fruit, juice, vegetables, soup, beans, sauces (ex. spaghetti) and boxes/packages of cereals (hot or cold), pasta, rice, breads or other food items that help provide people with a well rounded, healthy diet. We do not need any cranberry sauce, stuffing mix, or boxed potatoes. You can bring your donations any time between now and Nov. 17.
- Start a wonderful new tradition with your family by helping us deliver Thanksgiving gift baskets on Sabbath, Nov. 22, from 2:00–5:00 p.m. We need more help than ever to deliver between 80 and 100 gift baskets. This is one of the best experiences you can give your children, giving them the joy of helping others—a wonderful family memory regardless of age. If you don't have children, we still need you. Sign up on the bulletin insert and put it in the offering plate or turn it into the church office.
