Key Announcements for Dec. 15, 2008

Several key announcements are below. Please remember that it is assumed you are reading them Sabbath morning. There will be additional important announcements in Sabbath's bulletin.

PRAYER FOCUS With health concerns we remember Edith Jarschke (Annette Siver’s mother), Scott Handel (a friend of Darla Stong), Ethel Jensen and their families. We also remember the concerns in the foyer prayer book.

Special  Offering for  AUC  Next  Sabbath  
Next Sabbath, February 23, there will be a special  offering for Atlantic Union College throughout the entire Atlantic Union  Conference. This will be in addition to the designated offering for the SNEC  budget.  

Supporting  the new direction Atlantic Union College is taking enables AUC to make it  through this transition period, to create innovative and vibrant new  programs and services, and to continue to offer an excellent Christian  education to students both now and in the  future. Support from alumni and constituents like you will make this future brighter and stronger for generations of  Atlantic Union College students. Thank you for your prayerful consideration  of our request and for your support next Sabbath.


WELCOME GUESTS! Following the 11:00 a.m. worship service today we invite you to our haystack luncheon in the Fellowship Hall. Church family: please bring toppings and a dessert. The Sanctuary/Left Side & Spanish Sabbath School classes will host next week’s dinner. Church family: remember you’re welcome, but please bring food. Please bring your food ready to serve or in microwave containers so that no one needs to be working in the kitchen during the service. Thanks, Jane

OLT HAS A SPECIAL PLACE for all College Church members who are looking for a way to Share Him. This afternoon you are invited to attend the planning meeting for our first (of many to come) evangelism campaign. There is something everyone can do to make this a success. If you are not sure and have questions, come join us and have your questions answered. We would love to see you this afternoon at 2:30 p.m. in the Junior Room.
