Key Announcements for Nov. 17, 2007

Several key announcements are below. Please remember that it is assumed you are reading them Sabbath morning and that there will be more important announcements in Sabbath's bulletin.

PRAYER FOCUS With health concerns we remember Robert Montgomery, Beverly Hall, Ruth Pope, Ethel Jensen, Peggy Day, Sharon Olejniczak, Jim Norcliffe, and their families. We also remember the concerns in the foyer prayer book.

WELCOME, GUESTS! Join us for our monthly haystack lunch in the Fellowship Hall on the lower level following the 11:00 a.m. worship service today. The church provides the rice, beans and chips; church members, please bring toppings and a dessert. As you enter please join a table for fellowship as the tables will be dismissed. The left side/Spanish Sabbath School classes will host next week’s dinner. Please bring your food ready to serve or in a microwave container because we will not be working in the kitchen during the church service. Jane

EAGER BEAVERS/ADVENTURERS Our November meeting is today at 1:15 p.m. (immediately following the haystack lunch) in the Primary 1 room (bring toppings and a dessert). The young people will make cards to go along with the Thanksgiving baskets. If any families are interested in delivering a basket or two, please contact Jane to make arrangements. Thank you!

GAME NIGHT Come tonight at 6:00 for games in the Fellowship Hall. Bring a snack, your games and suitable shoes for ping-pong. The Social Committee

COMMUNITY CAFÉ College Church members are needed to provide and serve food at the café tomorrow from 4:00–6:30 p.m. Please contact Barbara King at 978.368.8419 if interested.

THIS WEEK there will be an early bulletin deadline due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Please submit all bulletin items by noon Monday, preferably by email to bulletin@thecollegechurch.com. Ed Collins

WOMEN’S NIGHT OUT Take a break from holiday preparations this Tuesday and meet around my table for supper and laughter at 6:30 p.m. Jane

THANK YOU, OLT MEMBERS! I realize what a challenge and commitment it was to sort through the Sowing Resource Catalog DVDs. Now it is time to choose the two or three ministries that best serve our community. Our next meeting is this Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. This is a very important meeting for us and for anyone interested in the Share Him evangelism movement. Our meetings are open to all church members who want to reach their neighbors, friends, co-workers, family and business associates for the purpose of sharing our Lord and Savior. Take some time before this Thanksgiving holiday to support the OLT by attending or by keeping us in your prayers as we seek the Holy Spirit’s guidance.
