Key Announcements for Aug. 18, 2007
Remember that it is assumed you are reading these announcements on Sabbath morning.
PRAYER FOCUS Please pray for AUC, SLA and Browning. With health concerns we remember Linda Currie, former AUC employee Maritza Garcia, Peggy Day, Rose Marie Knott, Sharon Olejniczak, Regina Preston, Carolyn Stump, Jim Norcliffe, and their families. We also remember the concerns in the foyer prayer book.
In bereavement we remember the family of Justin King (Atlantic Union Conference President Elder Don King’s father), who died August 10 in Jamaica at the age of 99. He worked as a literature evangelist for more than 60 years.
WELCOME, GUESTS! After services today join our church family for a picnic lunch at Debbie & Ralph Gifford’s home here in Lancaster. Directions are on the Information Post in the foyer.
COMMUNITY CAFÉ It’s that time again to remind everyone about our support of the Community Café. We are preparing supper tomorrow night and need more volunteers—don’t assume “there are plenty of church members, so somebody else must be doing it.” We need your support. If you can’t cook for a group, please offer to buy some supplies or help prepare and serve the meal. We only need a few hours of your time one Sunday a month. Come and join in the fun—no food service experience required. Call Barbara King at 978.368.8419.
WE’LL BE AWAY this Sunday evening through Wednesday attending meetings at Camp Winnekeag. We’ll check our voicemail daily. Pastor “Mo” & Jane
YOUTH NITE we will be going to Roll-on America. Please be at the church at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday. Wear your shirt inside-out for free admission. Jeremy Malin, Youth Pastor
STERLING HEALTHCARE MINISTRY Our monthly service will be this Friday at 10:00 a.m. Please contact Michelle Willliams at 508.728.6495 to participate.
