Key Announcements for Feb. 3, 2007
Remember that it is assumed you are reading these announcements on Sabbath morning.
PRAYER FOCUS Please pray for AUC, SLA and Browning. With health concerns we remember Joan Lufkin, Ron Maxson, Abby Soares’ sister Keila, Frances Shellong, Leon King, Laura Lee Williams, Lillian O’Handley, Eric Bartlett, Sharon Olejniczak, Carolyn Stump, Jim Norcliffe, and their families. We also remember the concerns in the foyer prayer book.
In bereavement we remember the family of Rick Estrada (son of former College Church member Jorge Estrada), who passed away last Sabbath. The memorial service is at Philbin Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water Street, Clinton, on February 15 at 7:00 p.m. The burial will take place at the Eastwood Cemetery on February 16.
CARDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT are on the table in the foyer. Sign them and brighten the life of a church family friend. Ministry of Nurture
WELCOME, GUESTS! We invite you to dinner today following the 11:00 a.m. worship service. This is an all-church dinner as it’s the first Sabbath of the month. Church family, if you plan to attend, please bring the following: Last names A–L bring salad or relishes & dessert; last names M–Z bring soup & sandwiches. Each item should serve 12. The Sanctuary left side Sabbath School class will host next week’s dinner.
CHURCH GAME NIGHT Come tonight at 5:30 and bring your favorite table games & snacks. Wear suitable shoes for ping pong if you plan to play. We had a wonderful attendance last time. Tiny tots through “seniors” had so much fun. So you can see you won’t want to miss out! Social Committee
