Key Announcements for Feb. 10, 2007

Remember that it is assumed you are reading these announcements on Sabbath morning.

PRAYER FOCUS Please pray for AUC, SLA and Browning. With health concerns we remember Mary Lou Segar, Joan Lufkin, Ron Maxson, Leon King, Laura Lee Williams, Lillian O’Handley, Eric Bartlett, Sharon Olejniczak, Carolyn Stump, Jim Norcliffe, and their families. We also remember the concerns in the foyer prayer book.

In bereavement we remember Elizabeth Sauls and her family in the loss of Baby Rachael Anne. A family service was held Thursday.

WELCOME, GUESTS! We invite you to dinner today following the 11:00 a.m. worship service. The Sanctuary left side Sabbath School class will host you.

A/V MEETING The audio/video departments will meet this afternoon at 2:00 in the Junior Room. All members of both departments are asked to attend.

“LIFE AFTER DIVORCE” meets Sundays through April 29 except Easter Sunday at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel. Pastor Elizabeth Castle and Tom Murray from the Village Church are facilitating. All are welcome.

THE FINANCE COMMITTEE will meet this Monday at 7:00 p.m.

THE CHURCH BOARD will meet this Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.

SHAWL/WRAP MINISTRY If you’d like to participate in this project we started last year, join us around my living room this Thursday any time after 6:30 p.m. Bring your knitting or crocheting. If you need to know needle size & yarn amount, contact Tina Jones, Mary Montaque or me. All are welcome—and if you don’t knit or crochet, maybe you’d like to fund a shawl. Hot drinks will be provided; bring a snack if you like. We will meet the first Monday and third Thursday of each month. Jane

MEMORIAL SERVICE The family of Rick Estrada (son of former College Church member Jorge Estrada) invites you to his memorial service at the Philbin Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water Street, Clinton, this Thursday at 7:00 p.m. His burial will take place at the Eastwood Cemetery on Friday.
