Key Announcements for Dec. 9, 2006

Remember that it is assumed you are reading these announcements on Sabbath morning.

PRAYER FOCUS With health concerns we remember Kaj Sonne, Lillian O'Handley, Mary Tambolleo, NAD President Don Schneider, Eric Bartlett, Beryl Christoph, Ray Dow, Sharon Olejniczak, Carolyn Stump, Jim Norcliffe, and their families. We also remember the concerns in the foyer prayer book.

"WHAT ABOUT THE COATS?" Did you remember to bring them today? After the worship service I'll be by our car at the lower entrance and we will load them in. If you forgot them, you may bring them to my home by noon tomorrow. I'll deliver them to the women's shelter in the afternoon. Jane

WELCOME, GUESTS! Join us at the Creighton's home for dinner after church. Directions are on the Information Post in the foyer. Next week we have our monthly haystack dinner, so bring a topping and a dessert.

A/V MEETING The audio and video departments will meet today at 2:00 p.m. in the Junior Room. All members of both departments are asked to attend.

ANIMALS, ANIMALS That’s what there’ll be! This afternoon at 3:00 Dr. Ray Sauls & his family and friends will provide a wonderful opportunity for us and the community here on the College Church side lawn to see some of his animals in a nativity setting. Depending on the weather we’ll enjoy singing carols with Michelle Williams outside—or inside, if need be. Refreshments will be served—hot chocolate & of course, animal crackers. Jane

WOMEN’S BRUNCH & YANKEE SWAP Come to my home tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. for brunch (bring whatever you’d like) and our yearly fun Yankee Swap—bring a nice gift you would like to receive yourself (we play it a little differently!) This will be our gathering for the month. Hope to see you! Jane

WE’LL BE AWAY on vacation, beginning “bright & early” Monday morning, returning to the office Friday, the 22nd. We’re looking forward to our trip but not happy to miss the Christmas programs and party next weekend. Pastor “Mo” & Jane

WEDNESDAY will be a very busy day here at the church. Next Sabbath is the music program for the worship service featuring our own College Church choirs. So if you are a part of these groups, plan to be here for the rehearsal supper at 5:30 p.m. followed by practice from 6:00-8:00 p.m. All the children will have regular practices during the day plus the rehearsal.
