Key Announcements for Nov. 25, 2006
Remember that it is assumed you are reading these announcements on Sabbath morning.
PRAYER FOCUS With health concerns we remember Lillian O'Handley, Ruth Bowen (Arthur's mother), Mary Tambolleo, NAD President Don Schneider, Eric Bartlett, Beryl Christoph, Ray Dow, Sharon Olejniczak, Carolyn Stump, Jim Norcliffe, and their families. We also remember the concerns in the foyer prayer book.
WELCOME, GUESTS! Join us for Sabbath dinner in the Fellowship Hall after the 11:00 a.m. service, hosted by the Sanctuary left side Sabbath School class. Next week we will have an all-church dinner for Homecoming Sabbath. Bring your favorite holiday foods ready to serve. We will not be in the kitchen during the services. Jane
HELP FOR HURTING HEARTS, for those who have experienced loss, meets Monday at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel. Grief is not limited to loss by death. We are impacted by changes in our health, relationships, employment and physical surroundings. For more information, contact Elizabeth Castle.
MIDDLE EAST WOMEN'S NIGHT OUT Join me for an evening of sights, sounds and cuisine reminiscent of our trip to Israel. We'll even have a Dead Sea mud facial (“purely” optional and complimentary)! I'll provide the meal—you bring your appetite this Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. Our yearly Christmas Yankee Swap party will be a Sunday brunch, December 10, at 10:00 a.m. Plan your food and unique gift. Jane
YOUTH NITE Meet at the church at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday for games, food and fun.
SUPPERTIME FRIDAY is this coming Friday at 5:30 p.m. (earlier then usual so those who would like can attend the Messiah concert here at the church) at our home. Come enjoy good food and great fellowship as we welcome in the Sabbath. Pastor “Mo” & Jane
MESSIAH The AUC music department will present the Messiah this Friday night at 7:30 here in the Sanctuary. The Pro Arts International Choir, members of the college orchestra, and soloists Jazer Sanchez, Carline Waugh, Robert Walker, Ransom Woodson and Robert Phanord will perform. Please join us for this wonderful expression of the Christmas message.
HOMECOMING SABBATH is next week. Invitations are available on the video cabinet counter in the foyer.
