Key Announcements for Aug. 26, 2006

Remember that it is assumed you are reading these announcements on Sabbath morning.

PRAYER FOCUS
With health concerns we remember Alberto Sbacchi, “Little Lillian” Peckham, Ray Dow, Ada Vega, Sharon Olejniczak, Carolyn Stump, Ottilie Stafford, Jim Norcliffe, and their families. We also remember the concerns in the foyer prayer book.

In bereavement we remember the family of Katharina Livergood, who passed away Wednesday here in Lancaster. She celebrated her 100th birthday May 20. The family invites you to the memorial service today at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel.

WELCOME, GUESTS! We’re so happy you’re worshipping with us today. Join us after the 11:00 a.m. service for a picnic lunch in Pastor “Mo” & Jane’s yard. Directions are on the Information Post. We will have a special welcome for Lilia & Artur Bacu, our newlyweds. Bring them a gift of money for the “money tree.” Members, please bring your food ready to serve.

EXPLORE BOSTON HARBOR ISLANDS tomorrow. Meet at the Alewife T stop at 8:30 a.m. to join our group outing (or just meet us at Long Wharf) to take the 9:30 a.m. ferry to George’s Island. Bring a picnic lunch (or buy something there) and whatever else you think you’ll need—swimming suit, sunscreen, games, etc. We’ll see what happens from there!

Check www.bostonislands.org for information such as cost (fee covers ferry and shuttle between islands), explanation of the different islands, what there is to see and do, shuttle times, etc. If you don’t have access to the web, see me for printouts about what’s available. Carpool and let’s have a great time! Don’t hesitate to ask questions. Sign up with me if you plan to go—just another opportunity for church family fellowship. Fun for all ages! (Pastor “Mo”) & Jane

WOMEN’S NIGHT OUT! Come this Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. for supper and an evening of relaxation and fellowship at my home. All women (teenage and above) are invited. Jane
