Prayer Focus & Key Announcements for Feb. 4, 2006

PRAYER FOCUS With health concerns we remember Dennis Williams, Judy Brown, Lillian Peckham, Eileen Hutchins’ and Chris Kungie’s baby Jane, Henry Livergood, Dorothea Scoble, Shelley Morrison, Sharon Olejniczak, Carolyn Stump, Ottilie Stafford, Ed Fortmiller, Jim Norcliffe, Shawn Bisson, and their families. We also think of the concerns in our prayer book in the foyer.

In bereavement we remember the family of Jody Fouché, who died last Sabbath afternoon from his injuries in the car accident. His funeral was yesterday here at the church.

WELCOME, GUESTS Today after the 11:00 a.m. service is our monthly all-church dinner. Last names beginning with A–L: please bring sandwiches and dessert; last names beginning with M–Z: please bring soup and relishes (carrots, celery, grape tomatoes, olives, etc.). Next week the Weishers will host our guests at their home.

EVENSONG Join together this afternoon at 4:00 to end the Sabbath thinking about Gracious Living In An Ungracious World. Invite someone to join you for this candlelit service.

THE PERSONNEL COMMITTEE will meet this Monday at 7:00 p.m..

WOMEN’S NIGHT OUT! Come this Tuesday for an early “Valentine Treat.” Bring something, if you like, to add to the supper and enjoy an evening of fellowship and fun beginning at 6:30 p.m.—there is no “late” so come when you can.
