Bulletin & Calendar

The bulletin is provided in PDF format. Also visit our "blog" (weblog) for announcements and information.

100% volunteer audio/video team, services are produced as personal schedules allow.

The bulletin is usually uploaded to the web site by Thursday noon. If you would like to be notified when it is ready or when there are other important announcements, join our announcement email list.

• To unsubscribe: email announce-off@thecollegechurch.com from the address you want to unsubscribe.

To submit something for publication in the bulletin, send it to the bulletin address. Please note: this address is only for bulletin submissions. Use the office address for general correspondence. Job and apartment listings, event prices and events which conflict with College Church events are posted on our bulletin board.

DVD Policies

College Church DVDs and CDs are offered on a donation basis. This accomplishes several things:

• It enables those who have to live more frugally than most of us to re-experience the blessings of the services by giving what they can afford;
• It simplifies our record-keeping;
• It precludes potential legal complications;
• It should enable you to deduct on your tax return part or all of what you give. (You may need to account for the value of the item; check with a tax professional.)

You may donate:

• in the black boxes on the foyer DVD/CD table;
• by writing in a donation for DVD Ministry in the Local Church section of a tithe envelope.

Suggested donations follow, but please feel free to donate what you can afford, even if that is nothing:

• DVDs:
  • Single DVDs: $10.00 each;
  • Three or more: $9.00 each;
  • Subscription: $25.00/month (see below for more info).
• CDs:
  • $3.00 each.

If applicable, required shipping is $2 for the first disk and $.50 for each additional.

DVD Supscription Option

• Gives you a DVD of each week's church service;
• Suggested donation of just $25 per month averages to only $6.25 each, and $5 in months when there are five Sabbaths;
• DVDs usually readyby Monday morning;
• Start or stop subscribing at any time;
• Only covers the weekly Sabbath morning 11:00 service.
• Shipping charges still apply to all mailings.

College Church Calendar

This is the same event-scheduling calendar we use in the church office. It is much more comprehensive than the calendar in the bulletin, and you can click the text of certain events for more information. For instance, click on a church service to get details on that day's offering, or click on a Sabbath picnic for directions to the location.

Or, if you want to hold an event at the church, you can check the date to see if there's a conflict. Please email any problems or questions regarding the calendar to the church office.

Other Announcements

• Parking Regulations: Our clearly marked No Parking areas provide quick access for emergency personnel, convenience for the handicapped, and smooth traffic flow through the parking lot. Therefore, for the safety and convenience of all, unauthorized parking in these areas is prohibited and may result in your vehicle being towed at your expense. Thank you for cooperating with these important regulations.
• Cell Phones, Pagers, Etc.: Please set all devices to silent mode during all services.
• Church Facility Usage: The pastoral staff must approve all usage of the church, so please contact the church office for a reservation request form. Events are usually scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Atlantic Union College groups and programs must schedule through the AUC event coordinator, who as of this writing is Blanche Castle, AUC ext. 2250.
• Bulletin File Format: The weekly bulletin is provided in PDF format. This requires the free Adobe Reader, which should enable you to view PDF files directly in your web browser. You can download Reader here.
